If Magdaleno Fuster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Edgardo Albizua came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the El Angel FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgardo Albizua couldn't finish the play. Magdaleno Fuster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, El Angel FC's Ramond Flores got a free kick in the 29th minute. 34 minutes into the game, Barri De Porta's Celedonio Cambero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 41st minute, Oton Coello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. El Angel FC's Hussein Abascal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Cambero in the 44th minute of play. Magdaleno Fuster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hussein Abascal having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celedonio Cambero was the one to do the kick off. Etor Velazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Bartumeu in the 52nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ion Saavedra during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 56 played minutes El Angel FC got a freekick which was hit by Ion Saavedra. Magdaleno Fuster blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hussein Abascal having to make a save. When Celedonio Cambero came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Barri De Porta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celedonio Cambero couldn't finish the play. When Oton Coello fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Angel FC's protests and gave Oton Coello a yellow card for diving instead. Oton Coello kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 75th minute Edgardo Albizua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Etor Velazquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celedonio Cambero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Barri De Porta getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Prudencio Vega hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Diego Valdivia sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Barri De Porta's Etor Velazquez didn't even have to move. After 85 minutes of play Barri De Porta's Prudencio Vega was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 89th minute of the match El Angel FC got a corner. Barri De Porta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Diego Valdivia ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Diego Valdivia almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Barri De Porta's Etor Velazquez did a great save. 92 minutes into the match, El Angel FC's goalkeeper Hussein Abascal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Magdaleno Fuster. Magdaleno Fuster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hussein Abascal having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, El Angel FC's Edgardo Albizua sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Etor Velazquez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Barri De Porta's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
