With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tacito Murcia in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Epicuro Moreno saved Llafranc FC from getting behind. Xurdin Verdaguer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charro Doblas in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Santiago Alvarez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Xurdin Verdaguer. The goal made the score 1-0. The supporters of Montseny booed when Llafranc FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nazario Canal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Epicuro Moreno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abundio Castro went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Xurdin Verdaguer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charro Doblas, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Nazario Canal kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Santiago Alvarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Xurdin Verdaguer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 40 minutes, Unai Cerreri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Llafranc FC and the Montseny players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st minute, Unai Cerreri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tacito Murcia in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Epicuro Moreno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abundio Castro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Epicuro Moreno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play.

In the 52nd minute, Santiago Alvarez made a precise shot to the right of Xurdin Verdaguer. Montseny's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Xurdin Verdaguer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charro Doblas, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Llafranc FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santiago Alvarez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tacito Murcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Montseny's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
