The audience thought a goal was coming when Hitzeder Vidal got free with Javier Alacuart in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Rigoberto Ramiréz came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Geldo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rigoberto Ramiréz couldn't finish the play. Diego Contratas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yiyo Gasso having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Severo Camino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torrebaja's supporters rose to their feet, but Severo Camino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yiyo Gasso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the game, Severo Camino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Yiyo Gasso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rigoberto Ramiréz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Torrebaja booed when Geldo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isandro Peña didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rigoberto Ramiréz was the one to do the kick off. Javier Alacuart didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hitzeder Vidal went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Ramiro Coira hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Vila in the 66th minute of play forced Geldo's goalkeeper Yiyo Gasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yiyo Gasso made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Diego Contratas sent off a good shot on target. Severo Camino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yiyo Gasso having to interfere. Torrebaja's Javier Alacuart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hitzeder Vidal in the 79th minute of play. Diego Contratas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
