A very good chance. 14 minutes into the game, Donzel Riba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Arturo Pais was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gualterio Carrasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arturo Pais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Carrasco in the 22nd minute of play. Caneja's Anartz Mala suffered a sore foot after 24 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduardo Bodelon during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Caneja booed when Cala Nova AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Bodelon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Eduardo Bodelon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Donzel Riba came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Caneja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donzel Riba couldn't finish the play. Ciceron Correa charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciceron Correa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ganix Cazorla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herberto Ricoy having to interfere. Donzel Riba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Arturo Pais made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donzel Riba was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Caneja defense, Ganix Cazorla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herberto Ricoy. The Caneja fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herberto Ricoy should have stopped the shot. Santiago Uria charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santiago Uria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Caneja getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Santiago Uria hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Cala Nova AFC's Oriol Balboa tried to score from far away in the 60th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caneja's goalkeeper Herberto Ricoy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Máximo Solana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cala Nova AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Máximo Solana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herberto Ricoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ganix Cazorla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herberto Ricoy having to interfere. Donzel Riba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Pais having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cala Nova AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Caneja.
