In the 2nd minute, Landolfo Cerreri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 18 played minutes, Pulianas FC's Juan-Alfredo Saez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luis-Jose Quijana came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pulianas FC reached it. The supporters of A Brea booed when Pulianas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilio Vagrande didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 25 minutes, Gabi Solano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pulianas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabi Solano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Heriberto Veloso might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Primitivo Verdaguer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Heriberto Veloso ran back to his position shaking his head. Delmiro Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Verdaguer having to interfere. Julio Roig charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julio Roig the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Pulianas FC's Julio Roig got a free kick in the 38th minute. Gabi Solano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Landolfo Cerreri struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Luis-Jose Quijana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pulianas FC. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After a rather tough play, A Brea's Heriberto Veloso got a free kick in the 61st minute. Pulianas FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Juan-Alfredo Saez in the 63rd minute. Pulianas FC's Juan-Alfredo Saez was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Luis-Jose Quijana in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 67 minutes of play, Pulianas FC's Landolfo Cerreri made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luis-Jose Quijana was left in no man's land by his defense there! Primitivo Verdaguer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmiro Romero in the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Delmiro Romero made a precise shot to the right of Primitivo Verdaguer. Pulianas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, A Brea's Xabat Puig got a free kick in the 75th minute. Landolfo Cerreri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis-Jose Quijana having to interfere. A Brea's Luis-Jose Quijana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save A Brea from getting a goal against them. In the 83rd minute, Delmiro Romero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A Brea fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 86th minute, Heriberto Veloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute of the match Juan-Alfredo Saez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luis-Jose Quijana skillfully saved the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. A Brea were victorious despite being under pressure from Pulianas FC for much of the match.
