But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Landolfo Cerreri couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabi Solano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Quirze Carreira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Primitivo Verdaguer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Pulianas FC's zone, Calisto Delgado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. When Egoi Navarro fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
