Guillen Castelao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Aiert Borrás tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aiert Borrás took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Calvo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zacarías Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th match minute, Malvarrosa AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascal Machado to maneuver through the defense. If Leon Benítez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Benítez in the 25th minute of play forced Malvarrosa AFC's goalkeeper Roger Ramiréz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Guillen Castelao reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aiert Borrás. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 31st minute, Placido Dean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Malvarrosa AFC's zone, Zacarías Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Ramiréz came out of the goal and Zacarías Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Leon Benítez put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Roger Ramiréz. In the 43rd minute Sergi Camacho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Ramiréz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leon Benítez in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger Ramiréz prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sergio Calvo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Malvarrosa AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jakes Zárate. 58 minutes into the match, Leon Benítez notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Malvarrosa AFC's Roger Ramiréz. Roger Ramiréz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Malvarrosa AFC's zone, Leon Benítez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Ramiréz came out of the goal and Leon Benítez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zacarías Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Ramiréz having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Fuente Victoria's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Calvo came free, but Aiert Borrás reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leon Benítez took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roger Ramiréz. Roger Ramiréz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Leon Benítez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fuente Victoria's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Benítez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Ramiréz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Malvarrosa AFC's Roger Ramiréz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarías Costa in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Leon Benítez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 89 minutes, Leon Benítez made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Malvarrosa AFC's Roger Ramiréz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Fuente Victoria's Sergi Camacho got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fuente Victoria! When the match was over Fuente Victoria could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Malvarrosa AFC throughout the match.
