Danilo Contratas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Montaña having to interfere. When Josu Madariaga came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Macharnudo Alto fans jumped to their feet. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Lia Marcilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josu Madariaga in the 52nd minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Macharnudo Alto's goal looked a bit too open when Rubén Mata came free, but Aurelio Montaña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Danilo Contratas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aurelio Montaña. Macharnudo Alto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Danilo Contratas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Rubén Mata's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelio Montaña read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Lia Marcilla came out of the goal and Marco Peña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rubén Mata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 97 minutes into the match, Macharnudo Alto's goal looked a bit too open when Rubén Mata came free, but Aurelio Montaña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurelio Montaña made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danilo Contratas in the 99th minute.
