The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gaudencio Rosario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mauricio Palomares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cesaro Rallo in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Valdo De Pablo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Malpartit AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 37th match minute, Malpartit AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubio Palencia to maneuver through the defense. Malpartit AFC's Cesaro Rallo got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valdo De Pablo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Rosario having to interfere. Cesaro Rallo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Mauricio Palomares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Montez Cuadrado was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Sobradiel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Montez Cuadrado came free, but Mauricio Palomares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdo De Pablo scored 0-3 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaudencio Rosario, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gaudencio Rosario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vistruario Quesada, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 73 played minutes Sobradiel FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfons Ponce De Leon. Valdo De Pablo hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Vistruario Quesada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Rosario having to interfere. Alfons Ponce De Leon charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfons Ponce De Leon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sobradiel FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Alfons Ponce De Leon hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vistruario Quesada in the 87th minute of play forced Malpartit AFC's goalkeeper Gaudencio Rosario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 91 minutes, Vistruario Quesada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sobradiel FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vistruario Quesada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rubio Palencia hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vistruario Quesada in the 95th minute of play forced Malpartit AFC's goalkeeper Gaudencio Rosario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Malpartit AFC's Gaudencio Rosario got control of the ball when Valdo De Pablo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Sobradiel FC booed when Malpartit AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubio Palencia didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Malpartit AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sobradiel FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Sobradiel FC.
