The supporters of San Fernando booed when Sobradiel FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gení Muelas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valdo De Pablo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Quinton Olmos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When San Fernando's Romo Soler in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Valdo De Pablo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quinton Olmos having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sobradiel FC's zone, Romo Soler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Palomares came out of the goal and Romo Soler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute, Fran Roman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 44 minutes of play, San Fernando's Romo Soler made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauricio Palomares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
