Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bero Nunez started the match with the kick off. Calvino Ibanez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bero Nunez, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Puigverd De Lleida's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Vives came free, but Gitano Clemente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th match minute, Puigverd De Lleida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aliecer Folch to maneuver through the defense. Arnaldo Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aznar Saavedra hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Arnaldo Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Gitano Clemente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Puigverd De Lleida getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Guillen Iglesias hit a great ball. Aquilino Zapater's late challenge caught a Puigverd De Lleida's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aquilino Zapater helped the player get up and apologised. After 21 played minutes Castellçiutat FC got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Zapater. Pelayo Casals hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 0-1 became the score in the 38th minute when Bero Nunez elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Artemio Negro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puigverd De Lleida's supporters rose to their feet, but Artemio Negro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Calvino Ibanez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Castellçiutat FC's goalkeeper Calvino Ibanez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Vives to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Castellçiutat FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asensio Ferrer to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Puigverd De Lleida's zone, Arnaldo Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gitano Clemente came out of the goal and Arnaldo Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot by Luar Marques from long distance, 58 minutes into the match, got Calvino Ibanez's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Gitano Clemente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Vives in the 60th minute of the match. The supporters of Puigverd De Lleida booed when Castellçiutat FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chayo Figueroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bero Nunez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Artemio Negro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Puigverd De Lleida's Luar Marques got a free kick in the 71st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Hurko Barroso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castellçiutat FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hurko Barroso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gitano Clemente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bero Nunez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Calvino Ibanez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 81st minute Bero Nunez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calvino Ibanez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artemio Negro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
