Arnaldo Toledo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 8th playminute. Calvino Ibanez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tolino Revuelta in the 12th minute of play. Gualba De Baix AD's Bautista Lacorte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Vives in the 15th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Gualba De Baix AD's Tolino Revuelta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Calvino Ibanez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gualba De Baix AD's Jeremias Llorente suffered a sore thigh after 21 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pelayo Casals during the 21st minute. Calvino Ibanez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hori Camarasa in the 61st minute. 69 minutes in the game, Hori Camarasa fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Calvino Ibanez having to interfere. Gualba De Baix AD's Casado Erosa got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Albino Zubizarreta fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Castellçiutat FC's protests and gave Albino Zubizarreta a yellow card for diving instead. Castellçiutat FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gualba De Baix AD for a fine match.
