But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olayo Camara couldn't finish the play. In the 22ndth minute of the game Olayo Camara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lugar Nuevo De La Corona FC's Belasko Ledo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jakes Zapatero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Licerio Velazquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roger Morales charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roger Morales the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Alcover's Roger Morales got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Gerardo Delgado was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Izar Zamora recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lugar Nuevo De La Corona FC's Belasko Ledo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Lugar Nuevo De La Corona FC from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Licerio Velazquez to make the kick off. Licerio Velazquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jakes Zapatero having to interfere. If Xabel Checa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xabel Checa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jakes Zapatero firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Licerio Velazquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 79 played minutes Licerio Velazquez rounded Alcover's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. The supporters of Lugar Nuevo De La Corona FC booed when Alcover was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Normando Aguilar didn't get a good kick on the ball.
