Llorenc Balboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Malla getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Jaime Sabina hit a great ball. Cirino Machado's late challenge caught a Fuentes De Ebro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cirino Machado helped the player get up and apologised. Llorenc Balboa scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Telo Castro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 30 minutes, Manolito Gimeno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manolito Gimeno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fuentes De Ebro's Rosario Fonticoba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Fuentes De Ebro from getting a goal against them. Manolito Gimeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosario Fonticoba having to interfere. Telo Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toni Olle in the 43rd minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Malla's Manolito Gimeno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rosario Fonticoba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Malla players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fuentes De Ebro were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manolito Gimeno to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Malla's Peyo Lillo got a free kick in the 53rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Aurelio Zurica got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Telo Castro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Peyo Lillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rosario Fonticoba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. When Malla's Gregory Planes in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Toni Olle kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Adelio Yeste charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adelio Yeste the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Fuentes De Ebro's Adelio Yeste got a free kick in the 91st minute. Rosario Fonticoba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregory Planes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toni Olle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
