Garcilaso Irureta was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 11 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of Vilamorell:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gamiz FC:s goal. In the 13th minute there was a penalty for Gamiz FC. Amancio Ziguenza stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Claris Mudarra. 0-1. 19 minutes into the game, Roberto De Pedro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gamiz FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vilamorell the free kick. In the 19th match minute, Gamiz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto De Pedro to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Gamiz FC booed when Vilamorell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bazil Bastida didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tacito Labarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Llin Camarasa's late challenge caught a Gamiz FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Llin Camarasa helped the player get up and apologised. Llin Camarasa hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Claris Mudarra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tacito Labarra, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Claris Mudarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicodemo Serena in the 35th minute of play. Gamiz FC's Carlitos Grau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Gamiz FC from getting a goal against them. Guilabertus Feria hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Llin Camarasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlitos Grau having to interfere. Caitano Calatayud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

A collision led to Vilamorell getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Caitano Calatayud hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Caitano Calatayud in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlitos Grau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nicodemo Serena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Claris Mudarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Rosalio Calatayud was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 63rd minute, Rosalio Calatayud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Gamiz FC booed when Vilamorell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. If Tacito Labarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caitano Calatayud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Carlitos Grau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gamiz FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
