The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Platon Morcego during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Platon Morcego hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute, Adán Zubiaga sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Espejeras's Cleto Gómez didn't even have to move. After 9 played minutes Espejeras got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Bergada. When Diego Companys came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Calamocha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Companys couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the match, Espejeras's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Pascual came free, but Cleto Gómez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celio Alabern showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohamed Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 19 minutes of play, Calamocha's Diego Companys made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cleto Gómez was left in no man's land by his defense there! 28 minutes into the match, Espejeras's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Vazquez came free, but Cleto Gómez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Calamocha's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed Santos came free, but Celio Alabern reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cleto Gómez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Companys in the 32nd minute of play. When Saturnino Vazquez fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calamocha's protests and gave Saturnino Vazquez a yellow card for diving instead. Teofilo Bergada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Celio Alabern made a huge save. After the first half Calamocha were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Diego Companys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Diego Companys managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calamocha's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Companys was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cleto Gómez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Espejeras's Cleto Gómez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Pascual in the 60th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Juan Revuelta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espejeras's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Revuelta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Espejeras's goalkeeper Cleto Gómez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Espejeras's Platon Morcego got a free kick in the 77th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Calamocha's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed Santos came free, but Celio Alabern reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celio Alabern made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Revuelta in the 90th minute of play. Calamocha's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
