Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Anastasio Saez made the kick off which started today's match. San Tome's Aketza Gabas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save San Tome from getting a goal against them. After 15 played minutes Huerta De Valdecarabanos got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Moreira. Teofilo Leyva took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aketza Gabas. San Tome's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 20th minute, Poncio Martinez fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Aketza Gabas, passed just outside the right post. In the 27th minute, Ioseba Irureta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, San Tome's Haitz Gasso tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Prospero Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aketza Gabas having to interfere. Paco Ponce De Leon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Torrent was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Tome's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Huerta De Valdecarabanos the free kick. Rodolfo Torrent kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Anastasio Saez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Poncio Martinez was the one to do the kick off. Paco Ponce De Leon's late challenge caught a San Tome's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paco Ponce De Leon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st minute, Paco Ponce De Leon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raphael Garay stood somewhat misplaced when Anastasio Saez came free in front of goal and shot 0-1 to the left of him in the 52 minute. If Anastasio Saez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Huerta De Valdecarabanos's zone, Nicolao Amer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raphael Garay came out of the goal and Nicolao Amer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Poncio Martinez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Poncio Martinez in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aketza Gabas saved San Tome from getting behind. Huerta De Valdecarabanos's Ioseba Irureta got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodolfo Torrent got his second yellow card in the match during the 71st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Aketza Gabas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paco Ponce De Leon's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Poncio Martinez hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, Huerta De Valdecarabanos's goalkeeper Raphael Garay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolao Amer. Paco Ponce De Leon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aketza Gabas having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Huerta De Valdecarabanos's Goren Pabon got a free kick in the 85th minute. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Nicolao Amer got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Poncio Martinez came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Huerta De Valdecarabanos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Poncio Martinez couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute of the match Goren Pabon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aketza Gabas skillfully saved the ball. When Anastasio Saez fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Tome's protests and gave Anastasio Saez a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to San Tome getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Anastasio Saez hit a great ball. Aketza Gabas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Poncio Martinez in the 98th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched San Tome eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
