Zavier Barral hit a great ball. Ramond Baños recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Arbas Campoamor fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pola FC's protests and gave Arbas Campoamor a yellow card for diving instead. Muno Camacho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Rua, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. If Roque Rua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th match minute, Las Palas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ritchie Campoamor to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Ramond Baños managed to get in a good position for a shot. Las Palas's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramond Baños was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Larpe Casillas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Casado Martinez kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Zavier Barral was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Pascual Dobale made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Pascual Dobale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Las Palas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pascual Dobale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ramond Baños sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Larpe Casillas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pascual Dobale showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 58 minute of play. Muno Camacho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roque Rua went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Muno Camacho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordero Vega in the 65th minute of play. Cordero Vega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muno Camacho having to interfere. Larpe Casillas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Dobale in the 69th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Las Palas's Ritchie Campoamor got a free kick in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cordero Vega in the 74th minute of play forced Las Palas's goalkeeper Muno Camacho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Pola FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Roque Rua hit a great ball. Ramond Baños received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Larpe Casillas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pascual Dobale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramond Baños's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Larpe Casillas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ramond Bañoss short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Larpe Casillas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Andrés-Fernando Higuera's late challenge caught a Las Palas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrés-Fernando Higuera helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Las Palas booed when Pola FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrés-Fernando Higuera didn't get a good kick on the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
