In the 4th minute Albano Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliviero Climent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quique Izaguirre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Oliviero Climent tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of El Plantío AFC booed when El Mujal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Cifuentes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9thth minute of the game Gaizko Iniesta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Plantío AFC's Pablo-Enrique Zabalo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Gaizko Iniesta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute of the match Xantalen Cabanela shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pablo-Enrique Zabalo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A hard shot by Txema Martin from long distance, 22 minutes into the match, got Oliviero Climent's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 23 played minutes El Mujal got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Cifuentes. Pablo-Enrique Zabalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lordi Molina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute Gaizko Iniesta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo-Enrique Zabalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lordi Molina in the 41st minute of play forced El Plantío AFC's goalkeeper Pablo-Enrique Zabalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quique Izaguirre's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Oliviero Climent skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lordi Molina in the 47th minute of play forced El Plantío AFC's goalkeeper Pablo-Enrique Zabalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albano Moreno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of El Mujal booed when El Plantío AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Etxave Amer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pablo-Enrique Zabalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lordi Molina, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Oliviero Climent didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Plantío AFC. 66 minutes into the match, El Plantío AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lordi Molina came free, but Pablo-Enrique Zabalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, El Plantío AFC's Dubardo Sarrate got a free kick in the 67th minute. Pablo-Enrique Zabalo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaizko Iniesta in the 71st minute. Pablo-Enrique Zabalo came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by El Mujal's Gaizko Iniesta. But to his dismay, Gaizko Iniesta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in El Plantío AFC's zone, Gaizko Iniesta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pablo-Enrique Zabalo came out of the goal and Gaizko Iniesta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Orlo Pabon fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Plantío AFC's protests and gave Orlo Pabon a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, El Plantío AFC's Orlo Pabon got a free kick in the 84th minute. Oliviero Climent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quique Izaguirre in the 88th minute of play. Oliviero Climent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albano Moreno in the 89th minute of the match. Jairo Cifuentes hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Quique Izaguirre spun around in front of the goal 95 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of El Mujal's goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. El Mujal walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
