Burceat's Fran Iniesta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zumar Vagrande in the 5th minute of play. Justino Freire could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Pedro Ponte made a huge save. Balaguer AFC's Zumar Vagrande got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th match minute, Burceat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cris Mangas to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Zumar Vagrande's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fran Iniesta was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. A collision led to Burceat getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Gaitano Roca hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Balaguer AFC's Orlando Gabas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 26th minute, Zumar Vagrande ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fran Iniesta was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Pedro Ponte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justino Freire in the 30th minute. The corner led Burceat's Avellano Ortega to a score. 2-1 in the 32nd minute. The audience was convinced that Zumar Vagrande's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fran Iniesta was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Bienvenido Zapico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Ponte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bienvenido Zapico's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

After some careless play in the Burceat defense, Eduino Estruch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fran Iniesta. The Burceat fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fran Iniesta should have stopped the shot. Eduino Estruch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fran Iniesta having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Ceandro Bueno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Ponte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 66th minute, Eduino Estruch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Balaguer AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. After 70 minutes, Cris Mangas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Burceat and the Balaguer AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cris Mangas hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Eduino Estruch who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Fran Iniesta when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Burceat's goalkeeper Fran Iniesta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 73rd match minute, Burceat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Redondo to maneuver through the defense. If Bienvenido Zapico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Behe Negro's late challenge caught a Balaguer AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Behe Negro helped the player get up and apologised. Behe Negro kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Balaguer AFC's Zumar Vagrande dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. Zumar Vagrande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduino Estruch got free with Fran Iniesta in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Balaguer AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
