Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zumar Vagrande got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Figueres AFC's zone, Eduino Estruch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Austin Ricoy came out of the goal and Eduino Estruch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Martino Guasch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Figueres AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Martino Guasch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Ponte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedro Ponte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martino Guasch, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. René Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Ponte having to interfere. When Martino Guasch came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Figueres AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martino Guasch couldn't finish the play. Pedro Ponte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from René Alvarez in the 28th minute of the match. Zumar Vagrande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Austin Ricoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If René Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martino Guasch scored 0-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Ponte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Figueres AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell René Alvarez to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Martino Guasch notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Balaguer AFC's Pedro Ponte. Pedro Ponte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers René Alvarez in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Ponte saved Balaguer AFC from getting behind. Eduino Estruch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zumar Vagrande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Austin Ricoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Constantino Leseduarte charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Constantino Leseduarte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of Figueres AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Balaguer AFC:s goal. Orlando Gabas shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Balaguer AFC's Orlando Gabas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 80th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Figueres AFC. René Alvarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Martino Guasch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Ponte having to interfere. With a little luck, Balaguer AFC's Pedro Ponte got control of the ball when Martino Guasch tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gilabert Leon's late challenge caught a Figueres AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilabert Leon helped the player get up and apologised. Gilabert Leon kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by René Alvarez in the 92nd minute of play forced Balaguer AFC's goalkeeper Pedro Ponte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
