An unexpectedly hard shot by Zumar Vagrande in the 26th minute of play forced Casas De Ibañez's goalkeeper Everardo Benítez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Casas De Ibañez! Everardo Benítez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zumar Vagrande in the 41st minute of the match. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Casas De Ibañez's goalkeeper Everardo Benítez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amato Vilanova made a kick off. Zumar Vagrande struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Everardo Benítez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balaguer AFC. Casas De Ibañez's Amato Vilanova got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vincente Lermo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Pedro Ponte made a huge save. Pedro Ponte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amato Vilanova in the 79th minute of play. Everardo Benítez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zumar Vagrande in the 83rd minute of play. Zumar Vagrande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Benítez having to interfere. After 86 played minutes Casas De Ibañez got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Erosa. Everardo Benítez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zumar Vagrande, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. If Eduino Estruch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Zumar Vagrande left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Balaguer AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Balaguer AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
