The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Serapio Fonticoba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Marquez Rey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peru Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marquez Rey having to interfere. Eneko Rubio might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Josu Ucero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eneko Rubio ran back to his position shaking his head. Peru Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Marquez Rey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feliberto Rico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josu Ucero having to interfere. Eneko Rubio struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Josu Ucero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Can Torrella AFC. Eneko Rubio might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Josu Ucero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eneko Rubio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 39th minute Peru Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marquez Rey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Peru Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Peru Pena was the one to do the kick off. If Peru Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Can Torrella AFC! The goalkeeper, Marquez Rey, was totally fooled by Viator's Macabeo Lastras, who 59 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 62 minutes into the match, Peru Pena dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marquez Rey, 0-2. Feliberto Rico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Josu Ucero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliberto Rico in the 69th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Can Torrella AFC's Emilio Valcarcel got a free kick in the 71st minute. Peru Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marquez Rey having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Can Torrella AFC's zone, Serapio Fonticoba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marquez Rey came out of the goal and Serapio Fonticoba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marquez Rey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peru Pena in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Serapio Fonticoba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Viator's Josu Ucero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliberto Rico in the 91st minute of play. Marquez Rey didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 96th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. When the match was over Viator could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Can Torrella AFC throughout the match.
