The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gandolfo Mera during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Medardo Carmona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes in the game, Dolfos Murcia dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Can Torrella AFC's Marquez Rey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Can Torrella AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute, Pablo-Enrique Galnares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, Medardo Carmona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marquez Rey made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Dolfos Murcia sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Marquez Rey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Medardo Carmona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nando Merino hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Eneko Rubio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chan Quevedo having to interfere.
