Walme Rico's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oliverios Bastida read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. The supporters of Lodosa booed when Alella AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Montxo Calderon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee gave Lodosa a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Curro Buendia, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Alella AFC's Oliverios Bastida. 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, Lodosa's Rolando España sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oliverios Bastida narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Froilan Domenech sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Garzon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froilan Domenech in the 28th minute of play. José Garzon came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Alella AFC's Vicente Gimeno. But to his dismay, Vicente Gimeno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Oliverios Bastida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walme Rico, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lodosa! The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Lodosa:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Alella AFC:s goal. The referee gave Alella AFC a penalty, 44 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Louis Turrilla, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lodosa's José Garzon. 1-2. If Froilan Domenech had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rolando España stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vicente Gimeno in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Garzon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Vicente Gimeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th match minute, Lodosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milian Villa to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the match, Alella AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando España came free, but Oliverios Bastida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oliverios Bastida didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rolando España went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. When Louis Turrilla fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alella AFC's protests and gave Louis Turrilla a yellow card for diving instead. After 75 played minutes Alella AFC got a freekick which was hit by Louis Turrilla. Froilan Domenech fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Garzon having to interfere. José Garzon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Gimeno in the 85th minute of the match. The supporters of Alella AFC booed when Lodosa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Pais didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Rolando España managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lodosa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolando España was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Froilan Domenech fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Garzon having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
