In the 3rdth minute of the game Zeledon Lozano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gando SAD's Cristobal Huguet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 4 played minutes Gando SAD got a freekick which was hit by Ivón Sirvent. In the 6th match minute, Gando SAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Jaen to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Ribeiro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 7th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Cristobal Huguet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Lozano in the 8th minute of play. After 10 minutes, Padro Dorado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gando SAD and the Benifairó De Les Valls players grew even worse after the yellow card. Padro Dorado kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Zeledon Lozano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zeledon Lozano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Huguet having to interfere. When Ivón Sirvent fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gando SAD's protests and gave Ivón Sirvent a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Benifairó De Les Valls booed when Gando SAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivón Sirvent didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Gando SAD's Padro Dorado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henric Griego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedro Arenas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Henric Griego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henric Griego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Padro Dorado in the 32nd minute of play. Pedro Arenas scored 0-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henric Griego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Pedro Arenas fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gando SAD's protests and gave Pedro Arenas a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gando SAD getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Pedro Arenas hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Arenas to strike the kick off in the second half. If Pedro Arenas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristobal Huguet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Lozano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeledon Lozano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Cristobal Huguet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Tonete Marquez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristobal Huguet was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Tonete Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Huguet having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Zeledon Lozano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Benifairó De Les Valls's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gando SAD the free kick. In the 77th match minute, Benifairó De Les Valls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Lozano to maneuver through the defense.
