In the 3rd minute Natxo Cienfuegos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anakoz Rivas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Silviano Rosario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Polop FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Silviano Rosario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Garaile Velasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ceandro Saura came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Garaile Velasco could save by the left post. When Bartolomé Quintanilla fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Polop FC's protests and gave Bartolomé Quintanilla a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Polop FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Bartolomé Quintanilla hit a great ball. Silviano Rosario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garaile Velasco having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Salomon Laredo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manises FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Polop FC the free kick. The supporters of Polop FC booed when Manises FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salomon Laredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ceandro Saura struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Garaile Velasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Polop FC. After a defensive mix-up in Manises FC's zone, Ceandro Saura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Garaile Velasco came out of the goal and Ceandro Saura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aladino Alcantara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Natxo Cienfuegos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Anakoz Rivas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natxo Cienfuegos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ceandro Saura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anakoz Rivas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natxo Cienfuegos, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Ceandro Saura blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Garaile Velasco having to make a save. Ramiro Andres hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After having played for 89 minutes, Aladino Alcantara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manises FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aladino Alcantara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Manises FC's Aladino Alcantara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anakoz Rivas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ceandro Saura struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Garaile Velasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Polop FC.
