Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Laurin Landa started the match with the kick off. A hard shot 3 in the game by Alexander Mendez from a close distance when the talented Lano Cainzos managed to make a qualified save. Los Cabos's players were relieved. 9 minutes into the match, Punta Del Hidalgo's goal looked a bit too open when Cayo Viqueira came free, but Toni Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tavio Iniesta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lano Cainzos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tavio Iniesta, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Alexander Mendez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cayo Viqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toni Varela having to interfere. Laurin Landa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Lorenz Serrano fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Punta Del Hidalgo's protests and gave Lorenz Serrano a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes Punta Del Hidalgo got a freekick which was hit by Lorenz Serrano. In the 34th minute Cayo Viqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toni Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toni Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurin Landa in the 35th minute of the match. When Tavio Iniesta came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Punta Del Hidalgo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tavio Iniesta couldn't finish the play. Toni Varela came out of the goal and Cayo Viqueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Laurin Landa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tavio Iniesta to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Los Cabos's Cayo Viqueira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Toni Varela. Toni Varela yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. 60 minutes into the match, Los Cabos's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Mendez came free, but Lano Cainzos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tavio Iniesta came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Punta Del Hidalgo fans jumped to their feet. The referee ignored Los Cabos's protests and gave Laurin Landa a yellow card for diving instead. Laurin Landa kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Alexander Mendez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
