The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 9 minutes into the match, Sant Quirze Del Vallès AFC's goalkeeper Iamín Cayuela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Lopez de Toro. Pepe Casals hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After 13 played minutes Aiert Duran rounded Sant Quirze Del Vallès AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. If Aiert Duran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aiert Duran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Iamín Cayuela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th match minute, Sant Quirze Del Vallès AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Roig to maneuver through the defense. Zeru Portillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelino Campello having to make a save. In the 42nd match minute, Las Barracas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ander Zárate to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Las Barracas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Typhon Saura was slow to take the kick. During this time Sant Quirze Del Vallès AFC's players had a chance to rest. Sant Quirze Del Vallès AFC's Typhon Saura was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Angelino Campello in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Zeru Portillo struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Angelino Campello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sant Quirze Del Vallès AFC. Sant Quirze Del Vallès AFC's Lorien Castillo got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zeru Portillo to make the kick off. Aiert Duran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lorien Castillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Angelino Campello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th match minute, Las Barracas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaskon Olmos to maneuver through the defense. Sant Quirze Del Vallès AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Typhon Saura in the 61st minute. The corner ended in Typhon Saura almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Las Barracas's Angelino Campello did a great save. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Las Barracas's goalkeeper Angelino Campello, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 68 minutes into the game, Benvide Villanueva recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Angelino Campello. Benvide Villanueva showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. A collision led to Sant Quirze Del Vallès AFC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Pepe Casals hit a great ball. Iamín Cayuela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aiert Duran in the 74th minute of play. After 76 played minutes Sant Quirze Del Vallès AFC got a freekick which was hit by Natalio Roig. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zeru Portillo during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 81 minutes into the match, Sant Quirze Del Vallès AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Aiert Duran came free, but Iamín Cayuela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iamín Cayuela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Lopez de Toro, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Sant Quirze Del Vallès AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
