Manolo Cartagena charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manolo Cartagena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match had been going on for 15 minutes, Jávea O Xábia's Zeruko Castelao got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Iamín Cayuela. If Lorien Castillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delmiro Patiño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Natalio Roig kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
