Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Epicuro Cortes took the kick off in the first half of the match. Neto Pabon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francis Uria having to interfere. Francis Uria didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Neto Pabon went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Cristian Acha kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Neto Pabon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Graciano Abancens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Reyes in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to Can Sant Joan getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Blasi Cacheres hit a great ball. Cristian Acha kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute of the match Castulo Soler shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Graciano Abancens showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 25 minutes of play, Santa Maria Del Espino FC's Leo Reyes made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Graciano Abancens was left in no man's land by his defense there! 29 minutes into the match, Can Sant Joan's Neto Pabon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francis Uria narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oswaldo Pedriza kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Epicuro Cortes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Neto Pabon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Francis Uria made a huge save. Francis Uria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epicuro Cortes, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Leo Reyes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santa Maria Del Espino FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leo Reyes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Graciano Abancens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leo Reyes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Graciano Abancens having to make a save. 44 minutes into the game, Macedonio Montero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Can Sant Joan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santa Maria Del Espino FC the free kick. The supporters of Santa Maria Del Espino FC booed when Can Sant Joan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macedonio Montero didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Aintza Barberá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leo Reyes to make the kick off. Graciano Abancens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Reyes, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 63 played minutes Santa Maria Del Espino FC got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Uria. Graciano Abancens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Reyes in the 69th minute of the match. Graciano Abancens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Reyes, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. When Neto Pabon came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Can Sant Joan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Neto Pabon couldn't finish the play. If Epicuro Cortes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aintza Barberá came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Santa Maria Del Espino FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aintza Barberá couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the match, Aintza Barberá notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Can Sant Joan's Graciano Abancens. Graciano Abancens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
