Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Donatello Hidalgo started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Donatello Hidalgo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Candido Maestro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Faustino Figueroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 10 played minutes Rodonya SD got a freekick which was hit by Benat Planes. Sarreaus CF's Xano Cortes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rodonya SD. Candido Maestro came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Sarreaus CF's Donatello Hidalgo. But to his dismay, Donatello Hidalgo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Victoriano Sauca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quinito Batuecas having to interfere. After having played for 26 minutes, Victoriano Sauca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rodonya SD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victoriano Sauca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victoriano Sauca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Quinito Batuecas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Victoriano Sauca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rodonya SD's supporters rose to their feet, but Victoriano Sauca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quinito Batuecas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristiano Ucero was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 37 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rodonya SD fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! If Victoriano Sauca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cirino Nieto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Quinito Batuecas having to make a save. Quinito Batuecas made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Victoriano Sauca sent off a good shot on target. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victoriano Sauca to make the kick off. With his leg Candido Maestro managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Sarreaus CF's Oliviero Abrego fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With an all-out effort, Sarreaus CF's Candido Maestro threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Honorio Barberá, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Donatello Hidalgo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oliviero Abrego recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donatello Hidalgo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, Oliviero Abrego had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Candido Maestro. Rodonya SD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oliviero Abrego was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Donatello Hidalgo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Oliviero Abrego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 83 played minutes Sarreaus CF got a freekick which was hit by Oliviero Abrego. In the 85th minute Donatello Hidalgo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Maestro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oliviero Abrego struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Candido Maestro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarreaus CF. Candido Maestro was a little too slow when Donatello Hidalgo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 0-5. Quinito Batuecas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Sauca in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sarreaus CF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
