Ermegildo Diez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Arias's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elisardo Fabelo in the 12th minute of play forced Aduanas's goalkeeper Ermegildo Diez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ermegildo Diez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Labarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Juan Paz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zacarías De Pedro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Marquez in the 20th minute of play. Edmundo Marquez was extremely unlucky when he, in the 22nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Juan Paz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarías De Pedro having to interfere. In the 27th match minute, Padron AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elisardo Fabelo to maneuver through the defense. Edmundo Marquez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zacarías De Pedro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Teodosio Labarra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Padron AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodosio Labarra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Diego Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute Edmundo Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarías De Pedro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Aduanas's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Arias came free, but Ermegildo Diez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Marquez was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Padron AFC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Peter Montaña hit a great ball. Ermegildo Diez didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 58th minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. When Fagondo Abancens came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Aduanas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fagondo Abancens couldn't finish the play. Zacarías De Pedro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Paz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute Edmundo Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarías De Pedro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodosio Labarras short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Ermegildo Diez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zacarías De Pedro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Teodosio Labarra struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Ermegildo Diez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Padron AFC. In the 82nd match minute, Padron AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodosio Labarra to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Aduanas getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Aurelio Baños hit a great ball. In the 86th minute of the match Zenon Sancho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ermegildo Diez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aduanas's Edmundo Marquez got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juan Paz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarías De Pedro having to interfere. Zacarías De Pedro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Paz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Teodosio Labarra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Padron AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The Padron AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
