An unexpectedly hard shot by Gumersindo Abellan in the 20th minute of play forced Belgida CF's goalkeeper Carlitos Quesada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlitos Quesada came out of the goal and Gumersindo Abellan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th match minute, Belgida CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Puyol to maneuver through the defense. Dubardo Talavera was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 40th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Gumersindo Abellan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlitos Quesada. Belgida CF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gumersindo Abellan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 46 minutes into the match, Belgida CF's goalkeeper Carlitos Quesada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Charro Sobera. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yuri Herrera was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Lorcha SD's Lluciano Aguilo got a free kick in the 53rd minute. When Yuri Herrera, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 54 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Placido Alabern was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar.
