Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Casas Bajas's Saturnino Aballe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Casas Bajas's Xamo Abascal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darien Paris in the 4th minute of play. Xamo Abascal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darien Paris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute Saturnino Aballe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pello Bermejo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 minutes, Montes Puyol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Mallol and the Casas Bajas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Montes Puyol hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Antonio Pascual fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pello Bermejo having to interfere. Casas Bajas's Saturnino Aballe managed to work through El Mallol's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Saturnino Aballe dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Mikel Moreira hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. If Zabal Patiño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saturnino Aballe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pello Bermejo having to interfere. Pello Bermejo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonio Pascual in the 19th minute. When Darien Paris fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Mallol's protests and gave Darien Paris a yellow card for diving instead. After 21 played minutes El Mallol got a freekick which was hit by Darien Paris. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saturnino Aballe in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pello Bermejo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 29 minutes, Darien Paris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Mallol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darien Paris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saturnino Aballe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Pello Bermejo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Pello Bermejo managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Casas Bajas's Antonio Pascual fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Saturnino Aballe struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Pello Bermejo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Casas Bajas. In the 41st minute, Zabal Patiño ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xamo Abascal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Xavian Flores fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xamo Abascal having to interfere. Anaya Bueno's late challenge caught a El Mallol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anaya Bueno helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of El Mallol booed when Casas Bajas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anaya Bueno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zabal Patiño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Casas Bajas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. El Mallol were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zabal Patiño to make the kick off. Antonio Pascual fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pello Bermejo having to interfere. Saturnino Aballe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 72nd minute, Darien Paris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mikel Moreira's late challenge caught a El Mallol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mikel Moreira helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Casas Bajas getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Mikel Moreira hit a great ball. If Darien Paris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pello Bermejo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Saturnino Aballe went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Casas Bajas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
