Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Natal Alcaraz kicked off to start the match. When Ramón Galdamez came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Abay AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramón Galdamez couldn't finish the play. 9 minutes into the match, Natal Alcaraz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amador Gibert. Torralba De Los Frailes SD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Natal Alcaraz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 13 played minutes, Abay AFC's Curro Villa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Amador Gibert came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Abay AFC reached it. Venceslao Doblas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Soto in the 16th minute of play. Orlando Soto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Venceslao Doblas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 26 minutes, Orlando Soto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torralba De Los Frailes SD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando Soto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Torralba De Los Frailes SD's Orlando Soto got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Belo Unzueta who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Venceslao Doblas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 36 minutes, Iban Pantoja mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abay AFC and the Torralba De Los Frailes SD players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Orlando Soto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute Orlando Soto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venceslao Doblas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Belo Unzueta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venceslao Doblas having to interfere. After the first half Abay AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orlando Soto to make the kick off. Torralba De Los Frailes SD's Amador Gibert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natal Alcaraz in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of Abay AFC booed when Torralba De Los Frailes SD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anxelu Silvestre didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramón Galdamez got free with Amador Gibert in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Abay AFC's Beturian Vacas got a free kick in the 69th minute. Oto Maldonado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Venceslao Doblas. Abay AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Natal Alcaraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Amador Gibert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natal Alcaraz struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Amador Gibert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abay AFC. Venceslao Doblas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belo Unzueta in the 78th minute of play. Natal Alcaraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Belo Unzueta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Venceslao Doblas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Abay AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
