Paperera De Sant Jordi FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Burgo De Ebro FC the free kick. After 5 played minutes Paperera De Sant Jordi FC got a freekick which was hit by Beltran Rallo. Amaro Verdu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quilino Alarcon having to interfere. Quilino Alarcon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillen Incera in the 10th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Paperera De Sant Jordi FC's Ximen Soler got a free kick in the 10th minute. Guillen Incera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quilino Alarcon having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Amaro Verdu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Burgo De Ebro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 24th match minute, Paperera De Sant Jordi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gau Sainz to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Amaro Verdu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Quilino Alarcon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amaro Verdu in the 28th minute of the match. Frodo Izquierdo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Gala having to interfere. Paperera De Sant Jordi FC's Goi Iglesias got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gau Sainz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guillen Incera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paperera De Sant Jordi FC's Quilino Alarcon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Paperera De Sant Jordi FC from getting a goal against them. Primitivo Gala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frodo Izquierdo in the 58th minute of the match. Paperera De Sant Jordi FC's Goi Iglesias got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Primitivo Gala didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Goi Iglesias went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Paperera De Sant Jordi FC booed when El Burgo De Ebro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilano Valdés didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frodo Izquierdo in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Primitivo Gala saved El Burgo De Ebro FC from getting behind. Guillen Incera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillen Incera in the 95th minute of play forced Paperera De Sant Jordi FC's goalkeeper Quilino Alarcon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
