Chucena FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pilas De Algaida FC the free kick. After 10 played minutes Chucena FC got a freekick which was hit by Cutberto Madariaga. 11 minutes into the match, Pilas De Algaida FC's Justin Marcilla broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pilas De Algaida FC's zone, Ferdinand Morera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pelayo Mezquita came out of the goal and Ferdinand Morera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valentín Baños recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Chucena FC's Pelayo Mezquita threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ferdinand Morera, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Ferdinand Morera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pelayo Mezquita was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. 38 minutes into the game, Domenech Goyanes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pilas De Algaida FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chucena FC the free kick. After 38 played minutes Pilas De Algaida FC got a freekick which was hit by Domenech Goyanes. Fructuoso Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ekhi Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Valentín Baños could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which Pelayo Mezquita however easily saved by the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ferdinand Morera to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Pilas De Algaida FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domenech Goyanes to maneuver through the defense. Pelayo Mezquita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Morera, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Domenech Goyanes got his second yellow card in the match during the 60th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. When Ferdinand Morera came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Chucena FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdinand Morera couldn't finish the play. In the 68th match minute, Pilas De Algaida FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Calvo to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Carlos Noya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 minutes, Ferdinand Morera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chucena FC and the Pilas De Algaida FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ferdinand Morera kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Morera in the 82nd minute of play forced Pilas De Algaida FC's goalkeeper Pelayo Mezquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferdinand Morera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pilas De Algaida FC's Pelayo Mezquita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Morera in the 91st minute of play. After 93 minutes, Pablo-Enrique Ecija mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pilas De Algaida FC and the Chucena FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fructuoso Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pilas De Algaida FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chucena FC.
