With a little luck, Benimàmet's Flor Ruiz got control of the ball when Fructuoso Perez tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Cristofer Abad, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 12 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Pelayo Mezquita was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Flor Ruiz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ismael Castan. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Noya during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carlos Noya kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Tomi Bargas's late challenge caught a Pilas De Algaida FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomi Bargas helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Benimàmet's Tomi Bargas got a free kick in the 18th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Benimàmet's goalkeeper Flor Ruiz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fructuoso Perez. Mauricio Calvo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flor Ruiz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 39th minute Cristofer Abad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pelayo Mezquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute Osoro Lillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pelayo Mezquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pelayo Mezquita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristofer Abad in the 45th minute of play. After 48 played minutes Benimàmet got a freekick which was hit by Gizon Morientes. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Cristofer Abad made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Osoro Lillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Benimàmet's supporters rose to their feet, but Osoro Lillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pelayo Mezquita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xose Baeza kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. If Cristofer Abad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 71 minutes, Fructuoso Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pilas De Algaida FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fructuoso Perez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Calvo in the 73rd minute of play forced Benimàmet's goalkeeper Flor Ruiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pilas De Algaida FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fructuoso Perez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mauricio Calvo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Flor Ruiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 97 minutes, Fructuoso Perez made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Benimàmet's Flor Ruiz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Benimàmet players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Pilas De Algaida FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
