Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Humberto Estruch got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Espinardo AFC's Baudilio Vagrande got a free kick in the 18th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Espinardo AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! Quin Cuervas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 31 minutes, Quique Cacheres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gerb AFC and the Espinardo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st minute, Quique Cacheres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerb AFC's Colas Coya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Estruch in the 34th minute of play. After 35 played minutes Gerb AFC got a freekick which was hit by Donzel Camara. Erlantz Jauregui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose-Luis Patiño having to interfere. Alvar Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Jose-Luis Patiño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Erlantz Jauregui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erlantz Jauregui made a kick off. Gerb AFC's Alvar Fernandez got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Espinardo AFC:s Jose-Luis Patiño showed great skill when he stopped Rai Cainzos:s penalty. Erlantz Jauregui's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jose-Luis Patiño read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Jose-Luis Patiño made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Erlantz Jauregui sent off a good shot on target. If Alvar Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th match minute, Gerb AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aresti Contreras to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Quin Cuervas in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Colas Coya saved Gerb AFC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Gerb AFC's Aresti Contreras got a free kick in the 72nd minute. If Alvar Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Espinardo AFC's Humberto Estruch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Colas Coya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Quin Cuervas struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Colas Coya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Espinardo AFC. After 86 minutes of play, Espinardo AFC's Humberto Estruch made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Colas Coya was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 89th match minute, Espinardo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cordarell Pena to maneuver through the defense. After 95 played minutes Gerb AFC got a freekick which was hit by Chayo Verges. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Espinardo AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gerb AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
