When Valentín Montaña fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Serrapio's protests and gave Valentín Montaña a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Meagas CD booed when Serrapio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentín Montaña didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Manuel Benedicto made the kick off in the second half. Meagas CD's Alejandro Campos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Benedicto in the 52nd minute of play.
