The supporters of Alfocea booed when Serrapio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Sevilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolás Navarro struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Hurko Esperta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alfocea. If Valentín Montaña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolás Navarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentín Montaña in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Alfocea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Serrapio the free kick. After 33 played minutes Alfocea got a freekick which was hit by Nicolás Navarro. If Valentín Montaña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anibal Fuente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Benedicto in the 41st minute of the match. Aritz Coira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Hurko Esperta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute Aritz Coira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hurko Esperta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentín Montaña could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Anibal Fuente made a huge save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After some careless play in the Alfocea defense, Manuel Benedicto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anibal Fuente. The Alfocea fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anibal Fuente should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fero Cortes during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 61 played minutes Alfocea got a freekick which was hit by Fero Cortes. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Pacho Ribeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Serrapio's supporters rose to their feet, but Pacho Ribeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anibal Fuente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valentín Montaña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aritz Coira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hurko Esperta having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Serrapio's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aritz Coira fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Many of Alfocea's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Alfocea may have spent more time on the ball, but Serrapio were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
