Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucila Lermo in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cebrián Negro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lucio Verdeja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristobal Dagora, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 42nd minute, Albano Mas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Cebrián Negro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With an all-out effort, Cristo Espiritu Santo's Cebrián Negro threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lucila Lermo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Cebrián Negro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
