Lucio Verdeja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bibiano Zubizarreta in the 77th minute of the match. After 78 played minutes Cristo Espiritu Santo got a freekick which was hit by Zabulón Ladra. 86 minutes into the match, Rubielos Bajos's Abrahan Pais sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucio Verdeja narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Albano Mas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordi Sierra having to interfere. Jordi Sierra stood somewhat misplaced when Lucila Lermo came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 93 minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rubielos Bajos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cristo Espiritu Santo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
