A wasted opportunity for Rubielos Bajos. 11 minutes into the match, Rubielos Bajos's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Dagora came free, but Jordi Sierra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, El Goloso FC's Cebrián Negro got control of the ball when Bibiano Zubizarreta tried to sneak it across the goal line. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by El Goloso FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Agustín Bergada was slow to take the kick. During this time Rubielos Bajos's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Agustín Bergada almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but El Goloso FC's Cebrián Negro did a great save. After 19 minutes, Luke Fernandez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rubielos Bajos and the El Goloso FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. El Goloso FC's Cebrián Negro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abrahan Pais in the 23rd minute of play. Pello Alonso's late challenge caught a Rubielos Bajos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pello Alonso helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, El Goloso FC's Pello Alonso got a free kick in the 24th minute. El Goloso FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Abrahan Pais 27 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Agustín Bergada kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Ermegildo Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 41st minute of the match Tonete Nobo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jordi Sierra showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bibiano Zubizarreta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Cebrián Negro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of El Goloso FC booed when Rubielos Bajos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naike Abril didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Zubiaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordi Sierra having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abrahan Pais to make the kick off. Abrahan Pais charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abrahan Pais the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jordi Sierra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Dagora in the 61st minute of play. Jordi Sierra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristobal Dagora in the 67th minute of the match. The supporters of Rubielos Bajos booed when El Goloso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tonete Nobo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dimas Quintana during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dimas Quintana kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After 78 minutes of play El Goloso FC's Dimas Quintana was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Cebrián Negro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After having played for 85 minutes, Bibiano Zubizarreta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rubielos Bajos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bibiano Zubizarreta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Bibiano Zubizarreta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rubielos Bajos's supporters rose to their feet, but Bibiano Zubizarreta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cebrián Negro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Bibiano Zubizarreta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Zubiaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordi Sierra having to interfere. Rubielos Bajos's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
