He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Lucas Amorebieta. Guillen Vacas hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Ois's Vito Alcantara got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Carro in the 27th minute of play forced Ois's goalkeeper Marcelino Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belarmo Quiroga hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vito Alcantara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lamedo's Lucas Amorebieta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belarmo Quiroga in the 58th minute of play. Xofre Nafría took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucas Amorebieta. Lucas Amorebieta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Agamenón Garrido was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 63rd minute. Lamedo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ermegildo Vilanova's late challenge caught a Lamedo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
