The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Villena booed when Torrequebradilla AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Estefan Morales didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Villena's Román Escurza tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Torrequebradilla AFC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Fidel Clos hit a great ball. Alvito Barroso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Kiko Cacheres made a huge save. Kiko Cacheres made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Alvito Barroso sent off a good shot on target. The referee felt a red card was in order, 23 minutes into the game, when Justino Teruel put in a rough tackle. Lawrence Alcaraz struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Kiko Cacheres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villena. Kiko Cacheres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvito Barroso in the 31st minute. Argi Odín showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Generoso Bouzas, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Alvito Barroso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kiko Cacheres having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Generoso Bouzas to make the kick off. Torrequebradilla AFC's Kiko Cacheres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvito Barroso in the 52nd minute of play. With a little luck, Villena's Argi Odín got control of the ball when Generoso Bouzas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 59 minutes, Checa Durango mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villena and the Torrequebradilla AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anaya Vagrande could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Argi Odín made a huge save. 62 minutes into the match, Generoso Bouzas notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Villena's Argi Odín. Argi Odín was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Xano Paredes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Argi Odín tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72ndth minute of the game Alvito Barroso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Torrequebradilla AFC's Kiko Cacheres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Villena's zone, Generoso Bouzas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Argi Odín came out of the goal and Generoso Bouzas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute Alvito Barroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kiko Cacheres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Generoso Bouzas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaudencio Dulce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Villena's goalkeeper Argi Odín had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Generoso Bouzas. Fidel Clos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
