The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Castrelo Do Val CD's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Richie Ponte 3 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Castrelo Do Val CD's Raúl Mangas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Castrelo Do Val CD from getting a goal against them. Raúl Mangas was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Lesardo Infante capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lesardo Infante really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 12 minutes into the match, Llafranc AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Zunbeltz Amer came free, but Felipillo Sarrate reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Llafranc AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! Castrelo Do Val CD's Juan-Alfredo Barral got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 22 minutes, Zarando Acedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Llafranc AFC and the Castrelo Do Val CD players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Llafranc AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zarando Acedo to maneuver through the defense. If Zunbeltz Amer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan-Alfredo Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felipillo Sarrate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan-Alfredo Barral in the 35th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Llafranc AFC's zone, Zunbeltz Amer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipillo Sarrate came out of the goal and Zunbeltz Amer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zunbeltz Amer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zunbeltz Amer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipillo Sarrate having to interfere. In the 59th minute Lesardo Infante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raúl Mangas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Richie Ponte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan-Alfredo Barral got free with Felipillo Sarrate in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Llafranc AFC's Felipillo Sarrate got control of the ball when Juan-Alfredo Barral tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zunbeltz Amer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipillo Sarrate having to interfere. Juan-Alfredo Barral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Juan-Alfredo Barral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felipillo Sarrate. Llafranc AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan-Alfredo Barral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. A hard shot 79 in the game by Juan-Alfredo Barral from a close distance when the talented Felipillo Sarrate managed to make a qualified save. Llafranc AFC's players were relieved. Raúl Mangas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richie Ponte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute Lesardo Infante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raúl Mangas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Castrelo Do Val CD players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Llafranc AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
