With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tabor Dean prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Mar Azul getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Bienvenido Caminero hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, Frisco Roman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tabor Dean. Mar Azul's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frisco Roman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Alonso Sainz's late challenge caught a Sant Jaume De Frontanya's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alonso Sainz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Mar Azul getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Alonso Sainz hit a great ball. Valentín Peña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xulio Valcarcel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaizki Castellano's late challenge caught a Sant Jaume De Frontanya's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaizki Castellano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st match minute, Mar Azul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaizki Castellano to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frisco Roman got free with Tabor Dean in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dantel Jorquera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mar Azul's Vitin Cabrera got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xulio Valcarcel struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Valentín Peña didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mar Azul. Dantel Jorquera hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, Mar Azul's goal looked a bit too open when Lander Correa came free, but Tabor Dean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xulio Valcarcel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Valentín Peña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frisco Roman during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Frisco Roman hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xulio Valcarcel to strike the kick off in the second half. Tabor Dean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lander Correa in the 55th minute of the match. Valentín Peña made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Vitin Cabrera sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Sant Jaume De Frontanya's zone, Xulio Valcarcel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentín Peña came out of the goal and Xulio Valcarcel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lander Correa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mar Azul's goalkeeper Tabor Dean, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lander Correa in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tabor Dean prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 89 minutes into the match, Mar Azul's Vitin Cabrera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valentín Peña narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sant Jaume De Frontanya fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mar Azul had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
