In the 32ndth minute of the game Inautzi Acha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Pinilla's Marciano Guijarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Font in the 44th minute of play forced San José De La Vega FC's goalkeeper Elvio Correa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Jaime Pacheco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

After having played for 54 minutes, Inautzi Acha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San José De La Vega FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inautzi Acha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Romeo Font blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elvio Correa having to make a save. It was beautiful to see San José De La Vega FC's Máximo Fernandez in action when he in the 91st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Marciano Guijarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inautzi Acha in the 97th minute.
